    David C. Ireland

    Founder / CEO

    David Ireland began his career in 1995 founding BPM Magazine and P•cket a local Southern California events guide for the electronic music scene. In August of 2000, BPM Magazine merged with djmixed.com LLC an online media company based in Los Angeles which later evolved into the Overamerica Media Group [OMG] in 2003.

     

    OMG later acquired two more print publications (Vapors, C-16) and created the Infiltrate Marketing Agency and HypeCircle a digital agency and online ad network which represented Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, and other top tier culture sites. OMG became known for 360 marketing campaigns offering clients multiple touch points including experiential, digital and traditional media. In 2007 the company had become a boutique powerhouse working across multiple verticals (hip hop, electronic music, action sports and auto culture) with more than $8 million in annual billing and 24 full-time employees.

     

    In 2009, Ireland left Overamerica Media Group to serve as the VP of Marketing at Diesel where he launched the largest 360 advertising campaign in the brand's US history with the BE STUPID initiative.

     

    Returning to his roots in media in 2011, he cofounded the online music and culture portal Magnetic Magazine and later FitEDM.com. The Magnetic Agency Group was created in 2015 growing the business into a multinational company with offices in Denver, Los Angeles, and Madrid.

     

    Over the course of his career, Ireland has worked with some of the top companies in the world including Ford, Kia, Nike, Puma, Levis, Sony, Xbox, Live Nation, Apple, Red Bull and many other blue chip brands.

    Laura D. Smith

    Chief Content Officer

    Laura Smith is an independent producer of award-winning narrative and documentary films. She produced the indie horror sensation It Follows, which premiered at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and garnered Film Independent Spirit Award nominations for Best Director, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography, as well as I'll See Your In My Dreams, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and garnered a Gotham Award nomination for Best Actress, both films also making IndieWire’s list of “Top 20 Grossing Indies of 2015.” Her most recent film, And Then I Go, had its world premiere at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival, where it was met with rave reviews. Smith also produced Scott Teems' That Evening Sun, which won the Audience Award and a Special Jury Prize at its 2009 SXSW Film Festival premiere and garnered to Film Independent Spirit Award nominations.

     

    Smith began her career working under Oscar-nominated filmmakers Paul Thomas Anderson and Andrew Niccol. Other feature credits include Factory Girl, Come Early Morning, Happy Endings, Lonely Hearts, The Year of Getting to Know Us, Victor, Sironia, and A Single Frame.

     

    Alongside her film and television work, Laura has produced corporate video and viral web campaigns for clients such as Facebook, Pinterest, Nike, Ray-Ban, TOMS Shoes, IBM, GE, and Cisco.

     

    Smith was named on Variety's “10 Producers to Watch” list in 2015 and nominated for the Piaget Producers Award at the 2016 Film Independent Spirit Awards. She is a Sundance Institute Fellow, a Film Independent Producing Fellow, and has lectured and served on panels for universities and organizations such as UCLA, Sundance Institute, Film Independent, SAGIndie, SXSW, and the Austin Film Society.

    Kedric George

    Strategic Marketing Executive

    A P&G trained marketing executive, Kedric George brings more than 15 years of experience in CPG brand building, retail marketing, new product development, and P&L management.

     

    George's most recent role brought him to the recreational category where he served as the Vice President of Marketing at ebbu, LLC, in Colorado, where he was responsible for the strategy and implementation of all marketing plans and communication.

     

    As former Director at Coors Brewing Company and MillerCoors Brewing, George led MillerCoors Economy and Heritage Brands’ Marketing division, Miller Lite, and Coors Light’s Retail Marketing, and Coors Light’s New Product/Packaging Initiatives.

     

    George received his MBA in Marketing/Strategic Management from New York University, Leonard N.Stern School of Business; and his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics Education from Louisiana State University.

    Jon Layne

    Experiential Expert + Content Producer

    Jon Layne brings 20 plus years of experience in the music and live event industry. Layne's early accomplishments include running a respected indie electronic label Intuit:Solar and managing top Detroit electronic acts The Detroit Grand Pubahs and the legendary DJ Assault. Layne eventually established an international 360 music management company and secured deals with major record labels and international distributors.

     

    After a successful stint in the music industry, he shifted over to the live event business moving to Los Angeles in 2002. Since then he has conceptualized and produced 2200+ celebrity, social, corporate, and charity events as well as promoted 600+ events with talent ranging from Jamie Foxx to the Beastie Boys.

     

    He brings an established network of partners, clients, influencers, and key players in the entertainment industry. Along with his music and event experience, Layne has also produced and created premium content for Magnetic Magazine, Complex TV, and Fuel TV’s (a Fox Network) broadcast and digital platforms.

    Vince Grashaw

    Director + Producer

    Vincent Grashaw first broke onto the scene as a producer of the independent feature film Bellflower, which was one of the most buzzed-about films to premiere at Sundance 2011. The film went on to play SXSW and garnered several awards, including Film Independent Spirit Award nominations for Best Cinematography and the John Cassavetes Award. It also received a Gotham Award nomination for Breakthrough Director and was distributed by Oscilloscope Laboratories.

     

    Having always had his sights set on directing, Vince then wrote and directed his debut feature, Coldwater, about a teenage boy who is sent to a juvenile reform facility in the wilderness, which premiered at SXSW 2013 and was distributed by Breaking Glass Pictures.

     

    Grashaw recently produced Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins, starring David Arquette and Troian Bellisario. And Then I Go, adapted from the acclaimed novel Project X by Jim Shepard, is Grashaw’s sophomore feature film. The film stars Justin Long, Melanie Lynskey, Tony Hale, Carrie Preston, and Melonie Diaz.

     

    Outside of the independent feature film world, Grashaw produces/edits/directs branded content for musicians, independent businesses, and major corporations.

    Tyler Horsley

    SEO / SEM + Digital Marketing Executive

    Tyler Horsley has years of specialized government agency training that serves as a competitive edge in working with SEO algorithms. Nuclear Networking is staffed by technically-trained individuals who bring unique skills to the table from backgrounds that include top-MBA business insight, U.S. government agencies, and database management. Horsley also acts as the CTO, CFO, shareholder, and advisor for multiple companies including law firms, tech sites, real estate companies, and more.

    Off The Grid - Complex TV x Magnetic

    Web Series

    Created and executive produced by David Ireland, this was a series that paired up Magnetic Magazine with Complex TV to take a famous DJ/Producer (Gareth Emery) off the grid to produce a track. At the end of the sixth episode, the track was revealed and given away to promote Emery's new album.

    Created and executive produced by David Ireland, this was a series that paired up Magnetic Magazine with Complex TV to take a famous DJ/Producer Duo (Blondish) on the road and capture the intimate moments between gigs showing travel, drama and the true meaning of being a touring DJ.
